Sandra Grunow

I am the Academic Counselor at Wainwright High School and support students with academic concerns, programming, career pathways, and graduation requirements to earn an Alberta High School Diploma. I also am extremely fortunate to welcome new students to our building, provide tours and support transfers between schools. This past year I taught English 8, Leadership 7, 10-12. 

My husband, Quinton and I have three amazing children, Luke, Jacob, and Alyssa. Luke is graduated in 2019 and is working hard this year to save money for post-secondary. Jacob is in grade ten, enjoys exercising and Alyssa loves to dance, and is in grade eight. My husband grew up in Wainwright, and we are fortunate to have lots of family close to us. We enjoy spending time with friends and family, traveling and volunteering extensively at the school, and in the community.
