Sandra Grunow

I am the Academic Counselor at Wainwright High School and support students with academic concerns, programming, career pathways, and graduation requirements to earn an Alberta High School Diploma. I also am extremely fortunate to welcome new students to our building, provide tours and support transfers between schools. Currently, I teach Leadership 10, 20, 30, Career and Life Management 20 and Foods 7, 8 and 9. 

My husband, Quinton and I have three amazing children, Luke, Jacob, and Alyssa.  Luke currently works in Wainwright, Jacob attends MacEwan University completing a Commerce Degree and Alyssa is at Red Deer Polytechnic starting a Degree in Education. As a family, we enjoy spending time with neighbours, friends and the Grunow family. We are so fortunate to have so many extended family members close by.  Our summers are filled with travel and hobbies, and volunteering in our community.
