Kara Waddell

I have been teaching science at WHS for 10 wonderful years!!  I teach primarily high school biology and science, as well as Science 9.  My classroom is a place where all students have many opportunities to succeed if they are willing and ready to put in the effort.  My favourite moments are those when students light up doing hands-on activities, as well as when they see their hard work pay off.  Nothing makes me happier!!  I don't have a lot of spare time as it is spent with my husband and 5 kids and their activities!  But if I do get a moment to myself, I enjoy curling in the winter, as well as golfing and lake time in the summer.
